UFCW 832 members working at Aramark 17th Wing ratified their new three year Collective Agreement. This new agreement will ensure the members know their financial future for the next few years.
“I’m proud that we were able to get a fair agreement for these members and get their collective agreement back on track,” said Sonia Taylor, Union Negotiator.
The new agreement brings a list of new improvements including:
- 4% wage increase over 3 years
- Lump sum payment of $200.00
- Improvements to Bereavement Leave
- Increase to boot allowance
- Improvements to layoff notice
- Minimum Wage Gap language
- Language clean up.
Aramark Canada Ltd. (at 1CAD/NPF, CFB 17th Wing) is located on the Canadian Forces Base in Winnipeg. This very busy cafeteria provides hot and cold foods for staff working at the Base. Though a small group of members, they are dedicated and very efficient at ensuring their customers are provided with fresh and delicious meal options.
