Security Guard Training

Security Guards in Manitoba must be trained and licensed. Proper training ensures people are better equipped to deal with the potentially dangerous situations that arise in security work.

Course Info

The Security Guard Training Program is open to everyone, even if you’re not a member of our union. This is a 40-hour program that takes place over one work week (five days).

Mandatory attendance for all five days (40 hrs) is required in order to write the provincial exam.

We proudly represent Security Guards with several employers in Manitoba. You can view our Security Employers on our Collective Agreements page.
