UFCW Local 832 has long been voicing calls for priority access to COVID-19 vaccines for essential workers, like those in grocery stores, and supports a new campaign from Sobeys adding more voices to this very important message.
“Our members have been working on-site at their respective stores for the duration of this pandemic,” says Jeff Traeger, President of UFCW Local 832. “They need access to vaccines now and to make them wait until their age or region comes up on the priority list is not enough.”
