Lisa LaRosa was sworn in this morning as the newest Executive Board Member for UFCW Local 832. She is a longstanding member, who works at Safeway. In the last round of negotiations she worked hard to represent her fellow coworkers and members on the bargaining committee. Now Lisa will bring her voice to the executive board and help to improve our entire local here in Manitoba.
Lisa is replacing Darlene Kernot on the executive board, who stepped down recently. All of us here at UFCW Local 832 want to give a huge thanks to Darlene for her time on the executive board, and for caring about her fellow union members.
