UFCW 832 members from Rolling Dale Enterprises lock in new deal

On Thursday, August 18, UFCW Local 832 members from Rolling Dale Enterprises ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that secures increased wages for its four-year term.

“Wage increases are essential to the future of the assisted living sector,” says Phil Kraychuk, union negotiator. “I am pleased our negotiating committee was able to secure a meaningful increase for these members who play such an important role in our community.”

The new deal includes a:

  • new $100 per year health spending account starting in January 2023
  • 9% increase in wages that brings up the start rate drastically, which should help with retention and recruitment.
