My name’s Marie Buchan, and I’m your Secretary-Treasurer. I’m at the table with President Jeff Traeger, working hard to bring all of our members at Superstore in the province of Manitoba the best deal that we can.
First off, I want to apologize for this message coming out late, your committee’s focus has been at the bargaining table. We’ve had long days and long evenings. We start at 9 a.m. each day and don’t finish until late into the evening, and today is no exception.
In these final two days, I want to assure all of you that we are working through the monetary proposals to bring all of you a deal that we can recommend..
You will receive an update from President Jeff Traeger by Friday at the latest on the status of negotiations and an update on if we are able to get a deal that we can bring to the membership.
