Members at ACL Interlake Vote Yes to New Agreement

On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, UFCW 832 members working for Association for Community Living (ACL) Interlake ratified their new two-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

The new CBA improvements include:

  • Increase to a variety of premiums recognizing the extra work that individuals do including: long serve premiums, weekend premiums and overnight premiums
  • The new CBA also brings an increase to the health spending account, an increase to the Vision care and also improvements to the employee RRSP plan.

“The committee did great work on this agreement,” said Phil Kraychuk, Union Negotiator. “Unfortunately, a severe lack of government funding is preventing these members from seeing the gains that they truly deserve.”

Association for Community Living, Interlake Branch is a non-profit organization dedicated to the full inclusion of people of all ages living with an intellectual disability. UFCW 832 represents the support workers and residential workers.
