On April 10, UFCW 832’s members at Brandon Community Options voted yes to a new, three-year agreement.
“Bargaining went quickly thanks to an organized committee who knew what to prioritize and fight for,” says union negotiator, Phil Kraychuk.
Highlights of the three-year CBA include:
- $0.20/hour up-front on wages and retroactive pay
- New long service premium of up to $1.00 per hour
- Increased sick time
- Increased mileage and mileage payment when workers are required to move locations
- Increase vision spending from $300 to $400
Brandon Community Options is a non-profit agency and our members work in residential homes and at the day program, supporting adults with mental disabilities.
