Dear Member,
I am pleased to advise that a tentative agreement has been reached with No Frills on your FIRST No Frills Collective Agreement! The new Agreement provides improvements to a number of provisions in the agreement including, but not limited to wages, benefits, and contract language.
RATIFICATION VOTE SET
Your committee has decided that the best way for us to communicate these proposed changes is to provide each of you with a summary of all of the tentatively agreed items that were negotiated in the mail early next week.
We will then be at each store (schedule will be provided next week) the week of Monday February 5th to Thursday February 8th, 2024. During those scheduled dates and times, you will be able to meet with a Rep and committee member to ask any questions you may have and cast your ballot and vote on the tentative agreement.
Your bargaining committee worked extremely hard to reach a tentative agreement that we are all proud to UNANIMOUSLY RECOMMEND, now it is your turn, please come out and VOTE!
Committee members will not be reviewing any of the changes with individual members in the stores, if you have questions, please wait until the meeting times at your store. It is important that all members receive the same information and we will make sure that we take the time to answer all of your questions.
It is important to remember that any items not listed in the summary agreement will still be in your collective agreement, they will just remain the same. None of the proposed changes take place until after voting by you, the members, has been completed. If you would like a copy of your current collective agreement and you do not have one, you can view it using the button below or you can call your full time Union Representative.
Ballots will then be counted by the Negotiating Committee on Friday February 9th, 2024 1:00 p.m. at the Union office. All ballot boxes will be sealed at the end of each day and remain sealed until a full count takes place on the 9th.
Please make sure to watch for your summary documents next week and if you don’t receive them, please call the Union office. Copies will be emailed to all of those we have email addresses for and mailed out to all members.
