Friday, January 22, 2021 – Members working at Epic Opportunities ratified their new collective agreement. The new collective agreement is a two-year deal that will expire on December 31, 2022.
“This was a good round of bargaining, and I’m really impressed with our bargaining committee for getting improvements that truly matter for their coworkers,” said Phil Kraychuk, UFCW 832 Negotiator.
The new agreement brings a collection of improvements, including:
- An increase to float days
- Lowered vacation qualification time
- The employer will now recognize workers as support professionals
- Added long service premium to OT calculation
