Equal Pay Day is the day marking the extra days the average woman needs to work to catch up to the salary of the average male in one calendar year.
The gender wage gap is the reality for working women across the country. This gap disproportionately affects low income, racialized and Indigenous women. It’s time to make sure that women receive equal pay for equal work.
