Proposals Meeting & Bargaining Committee Nominations
As you know your Collective Agreement expires on March 31, 2024. We have already begun to prepare for negotiations to bargain a new agreement on your behalf. Part of the preparation process is to obtain your ideas about what improvements should be negotiated into it. As such, we will be holding proposal meetings for you to attend so we can obtain those ideas from you and use them to draft our official proposals to present to your employer once negotiations begin.
The dates, times and locations of the meetings are as follows:
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2024
7:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:30 PM, and 7:30 PM
DAKOTA COMMUNITY CENTRE
1188 DAKOTA STREET, WINNIPEG, MB
It is of the utmost importance that you make every effort possible to attend one of the aforementioned meetings.
We will also be taking nominations for one additional member for your bargaining committee at these meetings. You can also add your nominations by emailing the names of your nominee(s) to me at the email address below by February 15, 2024.
If you are not able to attend one of the meetings on February 6th, you can also email me your proposal ideas at the email address below. The deadline for these submissions is also February 15, 2024.
