Reconciliation: Treaties, land and history
What do the land and Treaty acknowledgements we hear before events really mean? How can I do a better job of honoring the original occupants of this place and support their ancestors?
Join us for a virtual presentation hosted by Eric Flett, UFCW Canada Resident Elder, with a presentation by Maureen Matthews, Curator of Cultural Anthropology at the Manitoba Museum. Maureen will focus on new exhibits that help contextualize the place we call home, our relationship to the land, and our Treaty obligations.
You can join us on Zoom using the link below or via Facebook Live. A recording will be posted after the event.
