Communicating Effectively from UFCW Women’s Network

As part of the UFCW Women’s Network Mentorship Program, all are welcome to attend this event on effectively communicating your voice.

Whether you are an experienced presenter wanting to fine-tune your skills, a beginning presenter with a bad case of nerves, or fall somewhere in between, this session will strengthen your impact as a presenter. Participants will learn and practice skills and tools for delivering compelling presentations and managing unplanned (and oftentimes unwelcome) happenings with poise and resilience.

Drawing from the world of improvisation and beyond,  this interactive session offers participants:

• Tips to strengthen physical-presentation and vocal skills for in-person and virtual contexts

• Six Key Questions for crafting a compelling main message

• Practice accepting, surfing the unexpected and dealing with resistance using “yes”
