All members have been sent a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to review prior to the meeting.
CBAs can be very confusing, often an article can be read different ways changing the meaning however when it comes to administration there is only one interpretation and if the employer ever does have a different view, then we have the grievance procedure to deal with that.
It is very important you review this document prior to the ratification meeting and please do no hesitate to contact me at the contact information below with any questions you may have. This is extremely important given this is your first CBA and I am happy to walk you through anything that needs clarification.
It is very important you attend the meeting on September 18th on time as that will be your only way to vote. I will do a brief overview of the CBA, answer any questions and then we will vote. This is not a long process.
