IMPORTANT INFORMATION – NORTHERN DELEGATES

If you are flying to the conference, you will receive your flight itinerary individually by Marie Buchan. Hotel rooms have been booked on your behalf for the conference.

 


 

PARKING

Parking around the hotel is very limited, we strongly encourage you to carpool or use public transit.

IMPORTANT! 
NEW POLICIES FOR REIMBURSEMENT:

  • You must pay for your own parking and hold onto the receipt. 
  • You will need to mail in your receipts after the conference. 
  • You will be reimbursed for parking after the conference along with your lost wages. 
  • You will not be reimbursed for parking if you lose your receipts!

Hotel guests can drop off their luggage at the Fairmont front door before they park.

REGISTRATION

Registration at the Fairmont Hotel is on the Mezzanine Floor

 


 

SECTOR DISCUSSIONS

You are required to sign in for each workshop. Check the back of your name badge the time and room number.

If you do not attend your workshop, you will not get paid.

 


 

LOST WAGE FORMS

Your lost wage form is due by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7.

You can hand it in at the registration desk until 5 pm on Tuesday. If you do not hand it in on time your cheque for lost wages will be delayed. Lost wage forms will not be processed until May 18th and mailed out after that date.

 


 

HOTEL GUESTS

UFCW will cover the costs of your room and room taxes only.

UFCW will not be responsible for any other charges including room service, mini bar, etc. If you wish to use room amenities you will need to present a valid credit card when checking into the hotel. If you park in the hotel parkade it will be paid directly on your bill.

If you aren’t parked in hotel parking you will need to mail in your receipts!
