Members of UFCW Local 832 working at Vista Park Lodge conducted a strike vote on January 9, 2020. The members voted 100% in favour of a strike mandate.
The Bargaining Committee will go back to the table with this mandate and push for a fair deal from the employer.
The collective agreement expired on March 31, 2019. The current contract will remain in effect until a strike or lockout occurs, or until a new collective agreement has been ratified.
