Shirley Bernard and UFCW Local 832 negotiator, Michelle Masserey met again with your employer to continue negotiations on June 2, 2011 (the May 13 day had to be cancelled due to the employer’s illness). Your collective agreement expired on April 1, 2011. Shirley Bernard and UFCW Local 832 negotiator Michelle Masserey  met with Stuart Alcorn on March 21, to exchange proposals for renewal of the collective agreement. Several non-monetary items were agreed that day, and we met again on March 23. The negotiating committee made further progress on most of the outstanding issues at that meeting and on April 11. Negotiations are basically down to wages, benefits and vacation.
