IMI Members Unanimously Approve New 3-Year Contract

January 18, 2019

UFCW Local 832 members working at Intergrated Messaging Inc (IMI) voted 100 per cent in favour of a new three-year collective agreement.

During the life of this contract, the approximate 20 union members working at the call centre will see their wages rise by $2 an hour. The new agreement also contains more sick time, more vacation time and additional premiums pay.

Union negotiator Phil Kraychuk said, “It’s a very good agreement, which the bargaining committee had recommended acceptance of to the members. It showed in the vote.”

The new agreement will expire December 31, 2022.
