Getting close to crunch-time with Sobeys

"I would say cautiously there has been some progress, it hasn't been on any of the major issues or the major items. We have reached an agreement or moved off of a variety of proposals on both sides. We've narrowed the proposals down to what is a manageable number, but the problem is that they are all the big concessions that the employer originally tabled back on January 15th," said Jeff Traeger. 

The company has reiterated that stores will be closing in MB no matter what the result of collective bargaining is, and despite your bargaining committee asking, we have not been told which stores, how many stores, or when that would take place.
