Members at Pepsi Brandon Unanimous on 3-Year Deal

November 1, 2017

UFCW members working at the Pepsi Brandon plant voted 100 per cent in favour of their new collective agreement. The employees will see their wages increase by $1.35 per hour over the next three years, which along with the Winnipeg plant, is the highest in Canada. Plus, at date of ratification, each member also received a $500 signing bonus.

The union negotiating committee was also successful in obtaining increases to the safety footwear allowance, bereavement leave, as well as vacation payout for up to two weeks.

Approximately 90 per cent of the members attended the ratification vote.
