Negotiations Continuing at FASD Life’s Journey

May 16, 2017

The bargaining committees met on May 12, and the parties were able to agree on most of the non-monetary proposals. Further negotiation dates have been set for May 25 and 26, at which time the committees will begin to address the monetary issues.

“With the introduction of Bill 28” union negotiator Martin Trudel stated, “Even though we are still not sure if this sector will be affected, it is more important than ever to have the support of the membership in order to apply pressure on the provincial government.”

The union will keep the members at FASD informed as negotiations progress.
