Bargaining to Continue in March for VersaCold

January 18, 2016

The two negotiating committees for VersaCold Transport met on January 13 and 14.

Union negotiator Erin Selby, along with committee member Peter Robinson felt that the first round of talks was successful. The parties reached agreements on all of the non-monetary items, with the employer accepting the union’s proposals.

The more challenging part of the negotiation process will continue in March as the committees will be addressing the monetary items. The union negotiating committee knows what is important to the members at VersaCold and will settle for nothing less than a fair and reasonable deal that the committee can take back to the members.

Members can watch for further updates after the March meetings.
