Tentative Deal Reached for Gillam Co-op Members

On July 13, the Union and the Co-op bargaining committees reached a tentative deal on the renewal of the collective agreement for the members working at the Gillam Co-op. The Union will be scheduling a ratification meeting in the very near future and will advise the members of the date and time as soon as it is confirmed.

ACL Virden Members Ratify New 2-Year Deal

UFCW members working at the Association for Community Living (ACL) in Virden accepted a new two-year collective agreement by 100 per cent.

New Agreement for Coke Members in Brandon

July 12, 2018

The Coca-Cola UFCW members working at the Brandon plant voted yes, by 92 per cent, to accept a new four-year collective agreement. Their colleagues from the Winnipeg plant had recently ratified their new agreement as well. Included in the new contract:

Dauphin Co-op Negotiations Set to Begin

Strike Averted for FASD Office Workers

Avis Budget Negotiations Postponed

The negotiations scheduled for July 17 and 18 have been postponed until August 22 and 23 due to a scheduling conflict. Union negotiator Sonia Taylor will provide an update after the August 23 meeting as to the status of these negotiations.
