Headway Made in B & L Homes for Children Negotiations

Union Ready to Produce During Granny’s Hatchery Negotiations

Parties Attain New Tentative Agreement

July 21, 2016

The bargaining committees for members working at Wings of Power reached a deal on the renewal of a new collective agreement. The union has scheduled a ratification meeting on August 18 for the members to vote on their new deal.

At the meeting, union negotiator Martin Trudel will provide the members a summary of negotiations and the details of the settlement prior to taking the vote.


New Agreement at Selkirk Marketplace

The negotiating committees have reached a tentative settlement for the members working at the Marketplace in Selkirk.

New Deal Reached at Northern Meats

UFCW Local 832 has reached a tentative agreement at Northern Meats on the renewal of the collective agreement representing the workers at the plant.

Therefore, the union scheduled a ratification vote for August 4, and will unanimously recommend acceptance of this new deal to its members. At the meeting, the committee will provide details of the settlement prior to the vote.

Tentative Agreement Reached at The Pas IGA

The union and the company negotiating committees reached a tentative deal on a new collective agreement for the members working at The Pas IGA. As such, the union scheduled a ratification vote for Sunday, August 21. At the August 21 meeting, the union will review the full details of the settlement with the membership prior to the vote.
