Fort La Bosse School Division Negotiations at Standstill

McCain Members Vote Yes On New Agreement

April 13, 2018

An overwhelming number of members came out and ratified their new four-year collective agreement by 74%, which contains yearly wage increases of 1.75%, 2.25%, 2.25% and 1.75%. The first increase is retroactive to October 1, 2017. An additional wage adjustment for 14 different classifications of 3.5 percent also forms part of the new agreement.

FASD Members Unanimous on New Agreement

On April 11, Local 832 members working FASD Life’s Journey Inc. voted 100 per cent in favour of a new 2 ½-year collective agreement.

Assistance Requested for MNU Negotiations

April 12, 2018

Negotiations on the renewal of the collective agreement the Local 832 members working at the Manitoba Nurses Union (MNU) will continue on May 10, with the assistance of a conciliation officer. The parties also have bargaining scheduled for May 11.

Union negotiator Sonia Taylor will provide the members with an update after the May 11th meeting.

ACL Virden Negotiations Start in June

Negotiation dates have now been set in June to start bargaining the renewal of the collective agreement for UFCW Local 832 union members working at ACL Virden.

Martin Trudel will head the union negotiating committee. Once bargaining begins, he will provide updates as negotiations progress.
