Naleway Negotiations Update

July 7, 2006 Negotiations are progressing very slowly. Our seventh and eighth days of bargaining were held on June 30th and July 5th. June 15, 2006 On June 14 the Premiers Economic Advisory Council (PEAC) unveiled a new brand for the Province of Manitoba. Wages for the 81 UFCW Local 832 members employed at SunGro Horticulture will rise by eight per cent over the term of their new agreement

June 15, 2006 On June 9, 81 UFCW Local 832 members employed at Sungro ratified a new four-year agreement. The vote was 78 per cent in favour of acceptance. A new contract ratified by Local 832 members at the Reh-Fit Centre includes an eight per cent wage increase over the life of the agreement

June 5, 2006 On Sunday, June 5, the members at the Reh-Fit Centre ratified a new three-year collective agreement by 100 per cent. Members will see an eight per cent wage increase over the life of the contract. Local 832 Training Centre providing career transition services to members who lost their jobs when the Fort Garry Care Centre closed

Almost 7,600 people saved hundreds of thousands of dollars by using the Local 832 income tax preparation service
