Maple Leaf Announces Closure of Warman Road Facility

Shop Stewards receive diplomas

New members Join UFCW Local 832

February 14, 2008
On February 12 the labour board of Manitoba issued a certificate giving UFCW Local 832 bargaining rights to 18 members employed at PIC Canada who unanimously signed cards to join the union. PIC Canada is located in Malonton, Manitoba in the Interlake area. They have two locations of hog barns a few miles apart that separate the sows from the boards.
